This course covers the basics of search engine optimisation (SEO) from understanding the importance and benefits of SEO for businesses, to diving into the tools, the role of web design, and covering the best practices of white hat SEO. In addition, students will learn how to build link profiles, help search engines find their content, and understand the different Google algorithms and the reasons behind these updates.

Students will learn the importance of links in a successful SEO strategy and how to use links according to SEO best practices.

How search engines collect data

Discover how to help Google find and understand your website’s content.

Google algorithm updates

Students will be guided through the basics of PageRank, the Google’s animal algorithm updates, and the reasons why these algorithms are updated so often.

Once students complete the SEO course, they will receive RCM Digital College accreditation, recognised through MICT Seta, Google Badge Partners, and the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).
